TANCET Application Form

Application Form is common for all the three entrance tests. Candidates have to submit only one application. The candidates have to pay a fee of Rs.300/- (Rs.150/- for SC / ST Candidates belonging to Tamil Nadu on production of a copy of Permanent Community Certificate) as entrance test fee for any one of the Programmes either

1. M.B.A. or
2. M.C.A. or
3. M.E./M.Tech./M.Arch./ M.Plan.

If a candidate desires to appear for more than one programme, for every additional programme, he / she has to pay Rs.300/- (Rs.150/- for SC/ST candidates belonging to Tamil Nadu) along with the filled-in application.

TANCET MCA Pattern

Guys below information is about pattern for TANCET MCA

Duration of the Test: 2 HOURS

The question paper will have the following sections:

1. Quantitative Ability

2. Analytical reasoning

3. Logical reasoning

4. Computer awareness

A few questions may also be there on verbal activity, basic science etc. The question paper will have 100 objective type questions. Each question will have four alternate answers.

Each correct answer will be awarded 1 mark and 1/4 mark will be deducted for each wrong answer.

Multiple shadings will be considered as wrong answer and 1/4 mark will be deducted. Marks will not be deducted for the questions left unanswered.

Eligibility for TANCET MCA

A pass in any degree with 10 + 2 + 3/4 years pattern with Mathematics at + 2 level or Mathematics/Statistics as one of the subjects at the degree level or a pass in 10 + 3 (Diploma) + 3 years pattern with Mathematics at Diploma level or Mathematics / Statistics as one of the subjects at the degree level.
